The Buried City level of Arc Raiders was worked on by multiple environment artists. The principal owners were Daniel Henefalk and Darko Pracic. Maarten Nielen worked on multiple parts of the level with most of his focus on being creating the procedural system for generating Old Town Buildings. Wirachaya Tachakomol worked on and set dressed many areas of the city. I was tasked with building, dressing and finalising the largest buildings on the level - The Galleria Soldanella Shopping Mall, the JKV aerospace building, the Milae Analyz research office and the Istituto Alessia Pavanelli school building and library. I built and textured the main body of the buildings, built window and other inset modules and set dressed all of the structures. The visual design of the buildings is by World Art Director Tahir Tanis. Many materials have been refined in stages and are used across the entire game. I also built and finalized many individual 3D props for this level as the scope was simply too great for the then very small staff of 3D artists.
